Hossack has a family in Steinbach Manitoba, Canada. In her early years she was raised and attended school with her father in Killarney Manitoba. She was active in musical theatre productions. The first thing she was a piano player at the time she started with her Brandon University studies. However, she switched to studying voice. After graduation she said she just was interested in acting and was not interested in the drama field. Banff School of Fine Arts was the next destination after she completed her studies at Brandon. Hossack when she finished her studies at college she performed on stage in Ontario and Winnipeg.
