Kristen Anne Bell is an American actor and singer born in the year 1980. The actress was born in Huntington Woods and raised there. Bell is the daughter of Lorelei Frygier and Tom Bell. Her birthplace was in Michigan's Huntington Woods and was raised by the family of a Polish mother and a father that has a mix of German, English Irish, Scottish, and Irish. Kristen found her talent in the world of entertainment in her early years. She was just 12 when she attended her first audition and won an appearance in Raggedy Ann and Andy. Bell's mom enrolled her with an agency before her 13th birthday. She then appeared in television advertisements as well as newspaper advertisements. Along with learning in private classes in acting, she launched her career around that time. Bell had a minor role that was not credited to her on the film Polish Wedding (1998), in 1998. Bell was a student at Shrine Catholic High School where she participated in the music and drama club. In her school's show of The Wizard of Oz, Bell was cast as Dorothy. Bell went to The Tisch School of the Arts where she studied Musical Theater at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York City. In 2001, Bell went to university and decided to portray the character as Becky on Tom Sawyer. The same year she appeared in Pootie Tang, but the scene in which Bell made an appearance was cut. This meant that there is only a credit sequence. Bell was on Broadway in The Crucible, a revival with Liam Neeson with Angela Bettis.
