Linda Edna Cardellini is the daughter of Lorraine (Hernan), a mother, as well as Wayne David Cardellini (a father), a businessman. Lily James is a stage name given to Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson, an English actress born April 5, 1989. She studied acting at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London and made her debut on the British television series Just William (2010). Her breakout moment came in the year 2015, when she portrayed the leading role in Cinderella, a fantasy film. She had previously played the role of Lady Rose MacClare as part of the period drama Downton Abbey. James went on to portray Countess Natasha Rostova in the television adaptation of War & Peace (2016) and starred in several films. These included the action-packed film Baby Driver (2017), the period dramas Darkest Hour (2017), The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (2018) and The Dig (2021), and musicals Mamma Mia! There We Go Again (2018) and Yesterday (2019). Her performance as Pamela Anderson in the biographical series Pam & Tommy (2022) earned her nominations for the Golden Globe and a Primetime Emmy Award.
